Spooktacular 5k Bash & Dash Wrap Up

This past Saturday, we hosted the 2nd Annual Spooktacular Dash & Bash with one of our best partners, The Edgeton Explorit Center. We were blessed with a beautiful morning, great participants and wonderful costumes. Our courses featured views of The Leadership Center, Aurora’s great walking path and 3 prairies planted, developed and cared for by another wonderful T.L.C. partner, the Prairie Plains Institute. Those who participated in the 5k, while familiar with running the walking path got to see some beautiful secrets the prairies and The Leadership Center have to offer.

Hospitalityc: It’s What We Do

If you’ve ever been to The Leadership Center, you’ve probably seen the notation above the front office window, “We put the ‘T.L.C.’ in hospitality.”We put it up a few years ago as a promise to our guests that we proudly put the ‘tender, loving care’ in our service. It seemed fitting given that The Leadership Center is often referred to as T.L.C. and we are in the hospitality business. Of course there is always one in most groups that says the following, “…but there isn’t a “c” in hospitality.” While others go into say “The Leadership Center is known as T.L.C.and they put tender, loving care into all they do…”, it’s often greeted with, “but still, there is no “c” in hospitality”…
Be sure to review your event contract for important details and deadlines such as when final numbers, meal counts, lodging needs and meeting room set-ups as well as for deposits and final payments are due. These details are key to making sure a venue can accommodate your needs and execute your event successfully.
