We are continuing our “Meet the Board” blog series in the new year. We’re excited to introduce one our newest board members. He has  along history with our property and we’re happy to have him serving. Without further adieu, we’re pleased to introduce Mr. Brandon Grosserode.

Name:  Brandon Grosserode

Job & Location:  Agricultural Education/FFA Advisor at Ansley Public Schools

NVAF Board Position and how long you have served on the board?  I have been on the board for a little over 2 years.

Favorite thing about The Leadership Center:  One of my favorite things about the The Leadership Center is the opportunities our FFA Members have to grow, learn, and network with other great kids from around the state.

Why you like serving on the board or what you are looking to doing while serving on the board?  I am fairly young into my career in Agricultural Education, and serving on the NVAF Board has granted me the opportunity to learn more about what the board does, and how The Leadership Center has an impact on so many people.  What I would like to accomplish on the board, is to keep taking TLC and growing with the facilities allowing them to have even more great impacts for FFA members, Organizational Groups, Families, Businesses, etc

For those who do not know, The Leadership Center is a 501(3)(c) non-profit owned and operated by the Nebraska Vocational Agricultural Foundation (NVAF.) The NVAF is a board of directors made up of 10 Nebraska Agricultural Education teachers and 5 Nebraska business people in the areas of banking, law, accounting, as well as a business person from Lincoln and one from Omaha. While our board of directors are quite active with all the happenings of The Leadership Center, they are often behind the scenes and people don’t know them beyond name. So we are going to take some blog space to introduce to you our board members. We have asked each of them to answer a set of questions. Thanks for reading.
