I’m over the moon and I’m not coming down. The Leaderships Center’s D4LC program just launched two new camps for this summer!
These two camps offer young leaders the opportunity to grow through their experiences and learn what makes themselves unique while having a leader’s perspective. Staff of The Leadership Center are big believers in play, so it’s only right if campers have the opportunity to explore the property and have fun! Don’t worry, I’ve seen the stock pile of s’mores supplies and I can confidently say that a camper’s craving for s’mores will be immediately satisfied.
The Navigate Day Camp presents lessons in Leadership, Challenges, Goals and Kindness. Leaders will learn more about themselves and how to learn through their own development. At the end of the week, campers are able to showcase what they’ve learned.
The definition of Traverse is to go through and arrive on the other side. This really embodies our goal of Camp Traverse. Every day, people deal with some issue, and hopefully, they learn from what they’ve gone through and end up a better person because of it. This camp embraces the different disciplines of goal setting, communication and leadership skills (just to name a few). I’m ecstatic to see the progress of each camper as they make their way through this progression.
Click on the camps to learn more about them. Registration opens on Monday, January 27, 2020!
I’m excited to see you there!
