A- Agriculture

Reading about the past and present of TLC, you’ll learn about the importance of agriculture to the non-profit.

B- Big Boppers

These are the ice cream cookie sandwiches TLC has. Need I say more?

C- Community

My favorite way that we got involved in the community last summer was our Summer Food Program. We had the opportunity to interact with kids in the community and have fun doing so.

D- Delectable Creations

TLC offers many Delectable Creations classes throughout the year. There are some pretty exciting ones coming up

soon, including The Basics of Sushi on February 22.

E-Education

As a team member, you learn something new every day at TLC. As a student in a camp or class, you will also learn something new every day. Leadership, food science, and team-work are a few of the many topics you can learn about while at TLC.

F- Fun. Lots of fun.

Whether you are a guest or a team member at TLC, you never have to worry about having fun. TLC has a great deal of it.

G- Great food

As stated for “Fun”, the same can be said about the food.

H- Hard work

A lot of hard work has been put in by team members at TLC over the years. That’s why it’s so great today!

I- Interns

I may be a little biased, but TLC has some pretty cool internship programs. As a general intern, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a lot of fun, unique projects since last summer.

J- Jokes

There were some pretty great jokes told over the course of the summer.

K- Kittens

This past summer, kittens were born on TLC’s property and lived there for the majority of the summer. I was able to feed them and their mom, and even had one kitten warm up to me so much that I was able to hold it. The others were not so willing, but they let me stay next to them while they ate.

L- Leadership

Those at TLC know a lot about leadership and are passionate about teaching students how to be great leaders. We offer many different camps throughout the summer that help enhance those skills.

M- Memories

You are guaranteed great memories when leaving TLC.

N- Nature

TLC has a beautiful property. Take a walk on the trail and check it out for yourself!

O- Opportunities

Since starting at TLC, I have been provided with many opportunities that I wouldn’t have had otherwise. I’ve done so many new things, many of which I never expected I would do. For example, I had the opportunity to work with kids. I learned a lot from this experience and it was so much fun.

P- Passion

Everyone I have the opportunity to work with has a lot of passion for what they do, and it definitely shows!

Q- Questions

TLC is a big place and there is a lot to learn about it. I found myself asking questions every day throughout my summer at the center.

R- Recreation

Fishing, playing volleyball, and swimming in the pool are just a few of the recreation activities that are available at TLC.

S- Sessions

D4LC camps and workshops are filled with sessions that teach important academic, professional, and personal skills.

T- Teamwork

“Team-work makes the dream work” is an accurate statement when it comes to TLC.

U- Understanding

TLC is full of understanding, great people!

V- Volunteers

As a non-profit, everyone at the center knows the importance of volunteering and giving back to the community. We are lucky to have a number of volunteers at the center each year, along with opportunities for TLC members to get involved with the community.

W- Weddings

TLC has both indoor and outdoor venue options. Perfect for weddings during all four seasons!

X- Unfortunately, we don’t have any xylophones at the center, so I have to leave this one blank. Maile, if you’re reading this, I think we should get one.

Y- YouTube

TLC has a YouTube channel with some pretty cool videos.

Z- Zen

Sometimes, the center can be pretty quiet and calm.
