This year’s Gala was nothing short of beautiful. The air was filled with hope, happiness, and overwelming gratitude.

Given that we are in the midst of a pandemic, we made great efforts to offer a celebratory but safe event to all who chose to attend in person, participated through Zoom, or picking up their meals to-go. Our staff and servers wore masks. We offered masks at check-in for those who selected to wear them. We had lots of hand sanitizer located throughout the event. We also spread out the tables, cut the numbers to no more than 40 (we usually have 150-200+ in attendance), sat tables of 4 versus 8, and so much more. Covid-19 aside, it was a beautiful and festive event.

Traditionally we focus on raising funds for programming, safety, and amenities. This year we focused on keeping the doors open. Covid-19 has taken a huge toll on us, much like so many. We’ve experienced over $450,000 of lost revenues directly related to the pandemic. This year’s funds were raised to help rebuild our business and help us to continue to create moments that matter for years to come.

We have so much gratitude to share as there is no way possible for us to do all we did without the help of so many. The outpouring of support is so incredible. Between sponsorships, donations, ticket sales, auction sales, and crane sales, we have brought in nearly $18,500.00. These funds will go towards recouping from the business loss due to Covid-19.
