 nek:\nPam is a Nebraska native who spent many weekends and summers at her 
 grandparents' acreage\, where they raised hogs and chickens. She often pai
 nts rural subjects. Working primarily in acrylics\, Pam has taken workshop
 s and classes to improve her techniques. She spends a lot of time outdoors
  taking pictures for her artwork and has traveled to South Africa three ti
 mes to photograph animals and landscapes.\n\nShe is a member of the Fremon
 t Area Art Association and serves as a board member of the Association of 
 Nebraska Art Clubs. Enjoying exploring other mediums\, she has taken sever
 al abstract classes\, finding that it helps improve her composition when s
 he paints realistically. She also attends local “paint camps” where artist
 s spend a week working on their craft. She learns a lot from the other art
 ists as they work and share what they know.
