Local artist Pam Hynek will be teaching an acrylic painting workshop from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on April 6th! This class will guide you through the process of preparing and painting abstract water lily pads. All supplies needed to execute this technique will be provided!

This class costs $65.00 and there is a class limit of 8 participants.

More about Pam Hynek:
Pam is a Nebraska native who spent many weekends and summers at her grandparents' acreage, where they raised hogs and chickens. She often paints rural subjects. Working primarily in acrylics, Pam has taken workshops and classes to improve her techniques. She spends a lot of time outdoors taking pictures for her artwork and has traveled to South Africa three times to photograph animals and landscapes.

She is a member of the Fremont Area Art Association and serves as a board member of the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs. Enjoying exploring other mediums, she has taken several abstract classes, finding that it helps improve her composition when she paints realistically. She also attends local “paint camps” where artists spend a week working on their craft. She learns a lot from the other artists as they work and share what they know.
