I feel like I’ve been facilitating since 2010, when my little brother was born—and even more siblings followed after that. From the beginning, I naturally stepped into a supportive role, guiding and encouraging their growth—not just physically, but emotionally and personally too. That passion for helping others develop—whether through encouragement, creativity, or collaboration—has always been a big part of who I am. That’s why D4LC feels like such a natural fit for me. I’ve always been deeply invested in people’s journeys, and I’m thrilled to be here, supporting others as they grow and reach their full potential. You’ll get to know more about me in future blogs, but for now, here are a few fun facts to kick things off:
How did you find The Leadership Center and D4LC?: I was a past client.
Back in high school, I was a part of my high school’s FFA chapter’s officer team, and we came to the center for FFA COLT officer training and participated in MAPS team building led by Maile and Abby. I then chatted with Maile at an event through my entrepreneurship program in college and bribed (aka offered to pay me) to intern for her at The Leadership Center to potentially grow my business. At first, I was hesitant because Aurora was far from home and had a job lined up for the summer. I held back but figured I would take a leap and apply.
Favorite Workshop: My first one.
The service workshop is my favorite because it’s all about the ripple effect—how one act of service can inspire others and create lasting, positive change. I designed this workshop from the ground up, combining my passion for helping others with hands-on learning to empower participants to make a difference. Seeing people realize that their small actions can spread outward and touch lives is incredibly rewarding. It energizes me to know that I created a space where people grow, connect, and discover the joy of service—and that their impact will continue long after the workshop ends.
Favorite animal: DOGS.
I have two back home and could always use more of them. Any dog I encounter loves me and I love them.
Favorite food: anything The Leadership Center makes ;)
It might sound like I’m just putting in a harmless plug, but the food so far this summer has been AMAZING! John is a great chef!
Favorite place: Wyoming!
Yellowstone National Park and cowboys, what’s more to love. True, though, my family and I took a vacation to see the park and many other sights, and it was one for the books!
Favorite TV Show: Gilmore Girls The iconic moments have completely hooked me—this show is perfect for binge-watching. I love watching Rory and Lorelai’s mother-daughter bond and all the heartfelt and humorous moments that come with a great dramedy. Stars Hollow has such a comforting vibe, which is a big part of what makes the show so special.
