June Art Jam 2026
June 25–28, 2026 | The Leadership Center
After five wonderful years of hosting the T.L.C. Fall Art Workshop (formerly the Autumn Art Workshop), we’re turning the page and embracing a new season of creativity. As schedules and rhythms have shifted, we’re excited to say goodbye to our fall gathering and hello to something fresh: the inaugural June Art Jam.
June Art Jam is a long weekend dedicated to creativity, learning, and inspiration—set in the heart of summer at The Leadership Center. This immersive experience brings together artists of all levels for hands-on workshops, shared meals, meaningful conversation, and plenty of time to create.
Featured Workshops & Instructors
This year’s Jam features three engaging, art-focused workshops, each led by an accomplished and passionate instructor. Participants will choose one workshop to attend for the duration of the weekend.
Mixed Media
Dr. Carolyn Albracht
Explore the exciting world of mixed media through both 2D and dimensional work. This workshop introduces a wide range of techniques including watercolor and acrylic painting, gelli plate printing, collage, and surface alteration. Participants will also learn foundational composition strategies to create stronger, more effective artwork. Collaborative activities and group discussions offer opportunities for insight, inspiration, and creative growth.
Printmaking
Cindy McClellan
Led by artist and educator Cindy McClellan, this workshop introduces participants to three printmaking techniques: monoprinting, gel plate printing, and block printing. Cindy brings decades of experience and a sculptor’s eye for form, light, and shadow. Her teaching emphasizes experimentation, craftsmanship, and discovering beauty through process—perfect for artists eager to explore printmaking in an encouraging environment.
Watercolor Bird Book
Nancy Perucca
Beloved watercolor artist and teacher Nancy Perucca brings her signature blend of curiosity, humor, and technical know-how to this whimsical watercolor workshop. Participants will learn how to better control water and pigment, develop skills in shading, blending, and layering, and explore creative techniques such as lifting, erasing, salt textures, scraping, and plastic wrap. The class will culminate in the creation of a handmade watercolor bird book—no prior experience required, just a willingness to experiment and have fun.
Independent Study
Prefer to work at your own pace? The Independent Study option is perfect for artists who want studio time without enrolling in a class. Independent Study participants receive an 8-foot table and chair and are welcome to work on their own projects throughout the event.
Participants must provide their own art supplies. Meals are included, and Independent Study artists are invited to participate in all Art Jam activities outside of scheduled classes. This option offers a relaxed, creative environment with the freedom to focus on what inspires you most.
Whether you’re returning from years past or joining us for the very first June Art Jam, we can’t wait to welcome you for a weekend of creativity, community, and inspiration. Come make art with us this summer.
