Acrylic Lily Pad Painting Workshop with Pam Hynek
Saturday, April 6, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Local artist Pam Hynek will be teaching an acrylic painting workshop from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on April 6th! This class will guide you through the process of preparing and painting abstract water lily pads. All supplies needed to execute this technique will be provided! This class costs $65.00 and there is a class limit of 8 participants.

 

 

Macrame Workshop
Saturday, April 20th, 2024 | 9:00 a.m. - Noon, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Cindy McClellan is offering a TWO macrame classes at our coffeehouse on April 20th. From 9:00 a.m. - Noon, you can learn how to do a plant hanger macrame! From 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., you can learn how to do a wall decoration macrame! Supplies will be provided. Each class costs $40.00! When you register, select which ticket you would like - or both if you want to participate in both classes! Classes are limited to 8 people and you must register in advance!

 

 

Smashing China Mosaics with Cindy McClellan
Saturday, May 18th, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Local artist, Cindy McClellan, is offering a China Mosaic workshop! In this class you will be smashing plates in our alleyway (safety gear provided!) and rearranging the pieces into beautiful mosaics. NOTE: This will be a two-day class! On Saturday, you will smash, arrange, and adhere your pieces. On the following MONDAY from 5-7, you will grout your pieces into place! IF YOU CANNOT attend on the following Monday, then Cindy will send you home with grout to use at home!

This class is limited to 8 people. You must register in advance. All supplies are provided. Cost to participate is $50.00 - We hope you'll join us for a cup of coffee or tea!

 

 

Squeegee Painting Workshop with Cindy McClellan
Saturday, June 15, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Cindy McClellan is offering a squeegee painting workshop. In this class you will learn how to lay out your paint and squeegee away the excess to reveal an exciting, abstract image! This class is limited to 8 people. You must register in advance. All supplies are provided. The cost to participate is $30.00. We hope you'll join us!

 

 

Starter Gelli Plates Workshop with Cindy McClellan
Saturday, July 20, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Cindy McClellan is offering a beginner gelli plate workshop. In this class you will learn how to make gelli plates, which are reusable printing plates that let you make monoprints without a large, expensive press! This class is limited to 8 people. You must register in advance. All supplies to make the plates are provided. Cost to participate is $40.00!

 

 

Cardboard Reliefs Workshop with Cindy McClellan

Saturday, August 17, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 P.M.

Local artist, Cindy McClellan, is offering a cardboard relief workshop at our coffee shop. In this class you will learn to design and cut out your very own cardboard relief scene! This class is limited to 8 people. You must register in advance. All supplies to make the relief are provided. Cost to participate is $30.00 - We hope you'll join us for a cup of coffee or tea and get your creative juices flowing!

 

 

Pumpkin Painting with TLC Staff
Saturday, October 19, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The Leadership Center Staff will be providing a pumpkin painting workshop, in celebration of the Halloween Season! We will provide all of the supplies needed (pumpkins, brushes, paints, etc.) for guests to have an absolutely festive blast! This workshop costs $20. Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by a paid chaperone! We will be accepting up to 8 participants and we will be painting away in the back room of the shop!

Participants can leave their creations to dry in the back room and can take them home when they're ready!

 

 

Holiday Ornaments Workshop with Cindy McClellan
Saturday, November 16th, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Cindy McClellan is offering a wire holiday ornament workshop. In this class you will learn to craft custom holiday ornaments! This class is limited to 8 people. You must register in advance. All your supplies to make your ornaments are provided. Cost to participate is $40.00 - We hope you'll join us!

 

 

Holiday Cookie Decorating Workshop with TLC Staff
Saturday, December 14, 2024 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The Leadership Center Staff will be providing a holiday cookie decorating class in celebration of the season! We will provide all of the supplies (sugar cookies, icing, tools, etc.) for participants, so they can enjoy the workshop to the fullest! Each participant will get to decorate a dozen cookies. If you require cookies to accommodate a dietary sensitivity, please let us know in advance.

This workshop costs $20. Participants 12 and under must be accompanied by a paid chaperone! We will be accepting up to 8 participants and we will be decorating away in the back room of the shop! You get to take your cookies home with you.
