Works by Kim Nuss

Kim Nuss has taught for 16 years, working for 10 years in Hyannis, and now six in Shickley. At both schools, Nuss has taught K-12, resulting in a challenging but rewarding experience. She grew up in Aurora, where her high school art teacher and her mother, a biology teacher, inspired her to pursue her passion for all things creative, particularly art and music.

Works by Heather Amundson

Heather Amundson has been at work as an art teacher for 13 years, all of them in Aurora. Originally teaching due to an interest in art, art history, and the aesthetics of art, she has continued to enjoy passing on her knowledge of the subjects.

Works by Jacqueline Proctor
Jaqueline Proctor has been teaching for over 25 years. She began by working in youth services in the Air Force and Boys and Girls Clubs where she taught visual arts. Proctor also facilitated expressive arts therapy for a counseling center, before moving on to teach middle school art at North Platte before moving on to teach at Walnut Middle School Grand Island, where she's stayed for the last five years.

Works by Blair Hayes

Blair Hayes is an art teacher operating out of Aurora Middle and High School. She has taught art and design classes for over 11 years, having previously taught at Columbus for five years before starting at Aurora in 2018. Her passion for the fine arts began in a high school business class, and she cultivated that interest at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where she studied art and art history while completing her degree in graphic design. After realizing her passion for fine arts and teaching outweighed her interest in design, she made the switch to teaching art, finding that teaching middle school visual arts and high school graphic arts was the best of both worlds.
